Rain dampens '04 BHS Homecoming parade

Rain dampened the Bettendorf HIgh School Homecoming parade Thursday (10/7), but wasn't expected to slow the Bulldog football team. Bettendorf is 5-0 in the MAC after defeating Davenport Assumption 42-24 last week. This week's homecoming opponent is Burlington. The Bulldogs are second in the state 4A rankings, behind West Des Moines Valley, who last beat Bettendorf in the state championship game a year ago.
