Bettendorf football players converge onto the field to accept the state 4A championship trophy at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. The Bulldogs ended West Des Moines Valley's 30-game win streak and posted a perfect 13-0 season with a 34-22 win Friday (11/19). The Bulldogs got a stellar performance by quarterback Ryan Fick, who threw for more than 300 yards and four touchdowns. The tough Bulldog defense kept West Des Moines in check throughout the game. In President Andersonís absence, Vice President Weigle called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the Board recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
