A new Culver's Restaurant is coming soon to Bettendorf's Cumberland Square, Spruce Hills Drive and 18th Street.
The building at 2312 Spruce Hills Drive, next to Valley Bank, has been vacant for more than three years after the Fazoli's Italian Restaurant there closed.
The building has been undergoing extensive renovations for the new restaurant and the company has begun advertising for employees. It will be Bettendorf's first Culver's restaurant, joining three other Quad Cities locations (two in Davenport and one in Moline, IL) of the Wisconsin-based chain.
The opening also will mark the second new fast-food hamburger restaurant to open in Bettendorf this year. A new McDonald's along 53rd Avenue opened its doors this summer this summer.
