Isle Corporation, owner of Bettendorf's Isle of Capri Casino, earned 29 cents per share in its fourth quarter, helping the gambling firm finish fiscal 2011 in the black.
The Isle reported net income of $10.9 million for the fourth quarter ended April 24, compared to $4.9 million for the same period last year.
For fiscal 2011, the Isle reported net income of $4.5 million, compared to a loss of $3.3 for fiscal 2010. For the fiscal year, earnings per share totaled 13 cents, compared to a loss of 10 cents per share in fiscal 2010.
Revenues totaled just over $1 billion in fiscal 2011 and finished up $5 million from 2010 revenues.
For the Isle's Iowa casinos, overall revenues fell $6 million from 2010 with the Bettendorf Isle of Capri Casino having virtually the same revenue as a year ago.
